Our mission
The Legacy Salmon Creek Internal Medicine Residency is committed to providing a comprehensive medical education with a focus on developing highly skilled primary care internists. Residents will graduate with a strong background in culturally inclusive and compassionate communication, critical appraisal and comprehension of high-value cost-conscious evidence-based practice, and the lean-based quality improvement skillset necessary to execute successful population-level healthcare interventions.

Your learning experience
This is a uniquely designed Internal Medicine Residency with a focus on outpatient primary care, high-value cost-conscious care, and evidence-based population health. You should apply for our program if you desire a cutting edge rigorous education in outpatient primary care exploring unique models of primary care delivery, emphasizing strategies that prevent hospitalization. Internal medicine residents will primarily serve Medicare-aged residents of Southwest Washington with many intersecting chronic medical conditions. Exposure to underserved populations will occur via Free Clinics throughout the region.
