The Graduate Medical Education (GME) program at Legacy Health supports over 500
employed and visiting medical trainees annually across many disciplines. Legacy Health
is the largest locally-owned, non-profit health system in the Portland-Vancouver area,
with six hospitals and over 70 primary care, specialty and urgent care clinics.

Residency Programs

In our residency programs, residents acquire the knowledge and skills required to thrive in the practice of medicine through clinical experience firmly rooted in academics.

Fellowship Programs

Our fellowship programs teach the surgical techniques and clinical skills necessary for the care and long-term follow-up of patients across several areas of medicine.

Visitor Training

We welcome visiting fellows, residents, medical students and physician assistant students from other institutions to participate in specific elective rotations.
