Walk around the clock

February 1–2, 2017

What — To celebrate American Heart Month, patients, staff and physicians from the Legacy Good Samaritan and Legacy Meridian Park Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs will walk for 24 hours straight. 

When — Treadmills will run around the clock with a kick off at noon Wednesday, Feb. 1, and go through the night, ending at noon Thursday, Feb. 2. 

Why — To increase awareness about the importance of staying active in preventing heart disease and to raise funds for our patient programs. 

Get involved

Sign up to walk for 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes at a donation of $1 per minute. 

  • Good Samaritan — Sign up with the Rehab staff on the third floor of the main hospital, Room 336 or call 503-413-6723. 
  • Meridian Park — Sign up with the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab staff in the Cardiac Rehab Gym or call 503-692-2548.  

Buy tickets for a chance to win great prizes! 

  • Good Samaritan — Purchase tickets beginning January 30 in the third floor waiting area of the main hospital — $3 each or 5 for $10. The drawing will be held on February 2. Need not be present to win. 
  • Meridian Park — Purchase tickets in the Cardiac Rehab Gym — $3 each or 5 for $10. The drawing will be held on February 2. You need not be present to win.
