I had cataract surgery and the results are amazing

  Feb 22, 2025
The weekend before I saw this provider, I had a very sudden experience of major floaters in my left eye, which is sometimes associated with a retinal tear or retinal detachment. When I called the weekend emergency doctor through my primary care, it just so happened that my primary care was the doctor on call. She got back to me quickly, and advised that I call the emergency ophthalmologist on call. I then did that, and also got response back from him fairly quickly. He reassured me about my condition, but highly recommended that I follow up with my regular ophthalmologist. He said he would also leave a note with my providers office. On monday, my provider's office called me without me having to call them first, and got me in right away early in the week. I felt very respected, and cared for each step along the way.

Dr's concerned intent for identifying any existing problems I was having was very reassuring, in addressing them and offered helpful suggestions, as well.

This was my first visit to Dr. Stoumbos and Devers. It went extremely well. All my questions and concerns were addressed and while I thought I should see an ophthalmologist immediately, turns out I didn't, thankfully, but Dr. Stoumbos saw me within a day and put my mind at ease. I will be going back the Dr. Stoumbos and will recommend her and Devers to others.
