Dr Acohido, in addition to being a nice man, is an excellent ophthalmologist.

The receptionist was so accommodating and the doctors were friendly and very informative.

I am waiting for a call to schedule a follow up procedure. No one has contacted me after 1 week. Will wait a few more days to call back and attempt to schedule.

Dr Acohido is the BEST!

I was supposed to see him in March but that appt was cancelled due to him not being in the office that day. I know they are busy so I did wait a little long for him to come in to see me,but I am fine with that, not a problem. He is a wonderful doctor and I wouldn't go see another eye doctor unless he retires or quits which I hope doesn't happen for a very long time. He's always very friendly and smiling all the time, he listens to what we need and answers our questions completely. We have great conversations. He's the best ever.

The receptionist and assistant were very friendly and helpful. Dr Acohido was friendly and kind as always.

Great experience I would let anybody know that they would want Dr. Blake to do their eyes. He Is the best and always pleasant.

Dr Acohido has s a very good listener. He describes my eye health clearly and in ways I can understand. He makes recommendations that make sense to me and indicates he will follow up at my next visit.

I have problems walking and did not realize I needed to take the parking recipt with me to be validated. At Good Sam they have a ticket to be picked up at the providers office. I was not able to go back to my car, but was helped by the providers office. I will know better next time, but yesterday was very energy draining.

I wish the receptionist had warmed me that my route would be dilated and I needed to have sunglasses or other eye protection.

This was my first visit to this provider.

First visit for eye exam

Dr. Achido was very helpful and provided information I had not received from my previous ophthalmologist.

The time between his assistant and seeing the dr was over A half hour. Then I see the Dr for about 5 minutes

Some of the questions did not really apply to this provider as this was an annual check up for my eyes plus to check progression of my Cataracs. So he is my eye health provider

Only good things to say

Dr. Acohido is great. He could benefit though from having another provider at his Emanuel location. He has too many patients to see on his own, so patients end up waiting a long time in the patient room to see him.

This Dr and office are exemplary in their care of me. Very thankful.

Those was the first time I ever saw this provider. I believe he will become my regular provider.

After a Horrific experience with my previous provider(Eye Health Northwest) I was just delighted with my new physician! He as kind, encouraging, responsive, and made me feel cared for. I know he is newly in practice so I will refer to him anytime I get a chance!

I scheduled one hour for my visit, which took one hour and a half due to waiting. I was first called back 35+ minutes after my appointment time. This Is not usual for this practice.

Doctor explained fully, understood my concerns, listened to me. She and her staff were friendly, caring.

Dr Acohido has been our family Ophthalmologist for many years now. While this visit was primarily concerned with my specific eye care needs, he did refer to our daughter, & we exchanged a relevant dialogue pertaining to her. Dr Acohido is wise to review family needs that pertain to the concerns of a special needs client. We are grateful for his oversight of our family's needs.
