I first saw Dr Acohido after a visit to a former provider accidentally caused severe injury to one of my eyes. I went to Deveres Eye Clinic in utter panic. Dr. Acohido saw me immediately, calmed me down and addressed the injury perfectly. Since then he has been my eyecare physician, including for cataract surgery. My vision is now 20-20. Dr. Acohido is a terrific doctor and surgeon and a warm and friendly person. I would not consider switching to a different eye care doctor - he's just the best!

This is an excellent doctor who practices at the office nearest to me only one day a week and this has made scheduling any urgent, non-routine appointments difficult. So, the only (admittedly very) unpleasant part of this visit was driving to the office. However I was able to schedule my yearly follow up appointment, done before I left, in his Portland office.

Dr Acohido and staff are always fantastic!!!

I was in the office and exam room for over three hours, saw Dr. Thanos for maybe 20 minutes total, and the assistants for an appropriate amount of time. Appt was at 2:15 and we arrived early as requested at check-in. We left after 5:00. I needed a driver as my eyes were dialated and this was my first visit with this doctor. It was a LONG time in the little room with the door closed. The rest room toilet in the waiting room was out of commission and, as I was leaving after 3 plus hours, was able to use one through a door at the back of the exam room area.Great doctor, kind staff, but too long without contact in the little exam room with no explanation. I just about walked out.

No bad experience, but the questions on race and gender in this survey are stupid. Why would it even come up during clinic visit??

Dr. Acohido is not my primary care physician, however, he IS my primary eye care doctorI wasn't sure how to answer that question.

I felt badly for the courteous reception staff because tho they tried to accept my co payment there was a computer glitch preventing them. Also there was no restroom available for patients because it was out of service. This was at Tualatin location.

Saw doctor for 1st time, for cataract evaluation. He discovered a condition with my cornea, referred me to a cornea specialist, and set up a 6 month appointment with him, to evaluate next steps for improving my eye sight. He was very knowledgeable and polite.

My only concern was the unnecessary and very long wait between dialating my eyes and seeing the doctor -- almost an hour with no checking on me by anyone. I had to remind someone that I was waiting. Other than that, the treatment was excellent.

This is was my initial visit for Cataract repair I didn't get in on time but once called in, everything done efficiently and effectively. The technician was very thorough, efficient and friendly! Dr. Acohido was personable and listened to my concerns and questions. I'd would greatly recommend him.I hope the Pre-Op, op, and Post-Op goes as well as this first initial visit.I really appreciate everyone whom is in the medical profession right now, they're over worked and under staffed but still have risen to keep up with their demands to provide excellence care.
