Dr. Chatoor grew up in Jamaica – attending medical school at The University of the West Indies, Mona. In addition to receiving honors in surgery, he completed a General Surgery residency at Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in New York, followed by a Fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital/Ryder Trauma Center – the largest stand-alone trauma center in Florida, and one of the largest by volume in the nation.
