About Me:

Board certified in Ophthalmology, Dr. Terry is a subspecialist in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Legacy Good Samaritan's Devers Eye Institute. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine followed by an internship and residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center, UCSF in Oakland. He completed subspecialty training at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute. Dr. Terry joined Devers in 1990 where he is Director of Corneal Services and Scientific Director of the Lions Eye Bank of Oregon. His clinical interests include LASIK, corneal transplantation, cataract surgery, trauma and complex eye surgery, DSAEK, endothelial keratoplasty, refractive IOL surgery and limbal stem cell surgery. Dr. Terry developed a new method of corneal transplantation, DLEK, and contributed refinements to another endothelial keratoplasty technique, DSEK. Away from medicine, Dr. Terry enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys, skiing, basketball and piano.
