About Me:
Dr. Jason Glover was born in Columbus, Ohio. He attended medical school at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Virginia. He stayed in Charlottesville at UVA to be the chief resident. He completed his fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University, while there he worked in the lab of Brian Druker MD, who helped pioneer the drug Gleevec for the cancer CML. He is currently a member of: The American Society of Pediatric of Hematology/Oncology, The American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Children's Oncology Group. Areas of expertise include Solid Tumors (Neuroblastoma, Osteosarcoma, Ewings Sarcoma and other rare tumors), New and Experimental Therapeutics, Leukemia and Sickle Cell Disease. Personal Interests include hiking, cycling, triathlons and surfing. Dr. Glover enjoys spending time with his family and dog. He enjoys volunteering at Camp Ukandu through the American Cancer Society.
