Dr. Hwang has a BA in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her medical degree in 2000 from the University of California, San Diego. Both her Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship were completed at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Dr. Hwang encourages her patients to be active participants in their healthcare. She wants to help them make educated, informed decisions. Dr. Hwang speaks English and Mandarin.
