About Me:

I grew up in Silverton, OR and after serving in the Air Force I have the unique honor to return home and serve this community. Medicine is a calling, my calling, and it is amazing how scientific advancements like vaccines, immunotherapy, bedside ultrasound and countless more have made it possible to improve lives. I look forward as science continues to discover how the mind-body connection plays an integral role in health and wellbeing. I believe that health can best thrive in a partnership between physician and patient when each person is held accountable. Where physicians are expected to use best evidenced based medicine to achieve outcomes that matter to the patient and where patients are expected to take control of their own health. Most of my free time is spent learning what it means to be an amateur homesteader on my 36-acre farm with my husband and two boys. But there is always time for yoga.

This visit, my care by Dr. Smith and her MA was top notch as always. Please recognize her MA- she was amazing!!!1st time having her- can't remember her name. I wish I had her every time. She's personable, funny and wish I could have her every time! Truly an asset to your practice Both of them

Every time we visit Mt Angel clinic we have a wonderful experience. Dr Smith is awesome! We have referred her to friends. The nurses and staff are the best. We love LeBron the Mt Angel Tabby cat also. I feel like I've stepped back into time when doctors and health care providers could spend time with their patients when we visit Mt Angel Clinic. Huge kudos to the manager of the clinic who has created such a positive experience. Thank you!

I am so grateful I have found the provider I have. I am never scared or intimidated about going to the doctor knowing I have such a good provider! She always addresses any troubles I'm having and is super thorough and kind about every interaction or situation I might be dealing with. I know I'm in good hands seeing my provider and can trust in the care I receive every time! It takes team work between a doctor and patient to figure out issues and I couldn't have asked for a better teammate! Thank you for all that you guys do!

Enough time was spent and we discussed all my medications. Dr. Smith ordered a mammogram, bone test and took a blood sample. She was knowledgeable in answering all my questions and I truly felt she cared about me and my health.

Assistant was to come back to get another reading on blood pressure and a urine sample but we BOTH forgot. Not meant to be a black mark for her because I also forgot cause it was out of sequence for the normal.

Last visit was exceptionally helpful and insightful plus reassuring. Dr. Smith impressed me and reaffirmed my choice in her abilities. It has been a rough year accepting my health issues and aging process. I really feel comfortable right now.
