About Me:

Dr. Colette Lauhan grew up in beautiful Northeast Portland. Interested in medicine from a very early age, her first volunteer position was at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. After graduating from Grant High School, she attended Vanderbilt University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and began work in cancer research. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at East Tennessee State University. She returned to the West Coast for her pediatric hematology oncology fellowship at University of California San Diego, during which time she studied adoptive cell therapy and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy for the treatment of solid tumors. Her clinical interests include hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, immunotherapy, blood disorders, and caring for the unique adolescent and young adult patient population. In her free time, Dr. Lauhan enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs, cooking, and exploring the great outdoors.
