Did you see your email from EPlusOnline?

November 2013

Medical staff members have been assigned free ICD-10 online education modules by Legacy. They are being notified via an email message from EplusOnline, Legacy’s learning-management system.

This training is separate from Epic training, for which you must register.

Legacy medical staff will begin using ICD-10 terms and documentation standards in April 2014, which will happen concurrently with a major upgrade to our Epic system. Work is underway to enhance workflows, where supported by Epic, for both ICD-10 and the upgrade in order to optimize documentation.

The online ICD-10 education is an orientation. It should take less than an hour to complete. In order to ensure the most efficient use of your time, we encourage you to complete your online ICD-10 education prior to attending Epic training, which begins in January.

You do not need to take your ICD-10 training with Legacy. If you choose to complete ICD-10 education through another organization, please send an email with attestation of completion and include the name of the organization where the training was completed.

Free ICD-10 training for your practice

Legacy is making free ICD-10 training available for the office staff of providers on Legacy medical staff. The training consists of online e-learning modules located on HealthStream. To enroll, your office manager or delegate should contact Cristin Ebert, ICD-10 training coordinator, at 503-415-5813.
