Fellowship Programs

Ophthalmology uveitis

Legacy Devers Eye Institute and Casey Eye Institute of Oregon Health and Science University offer an AUPO-certified uveitis clinical fellowship program.  One clinical fellow a year will gain expertise in the diagnosis, and management of complex inflammatory eye disease (uveitis). The mission of the fellowship is to train well-rounded, ethical uveitis specialists with the ability to pursue careers in either academic medicine or private practice.

Clinical training

The fellow will work closely with five different uveitis faculties at the two institutions:

Devers Eye Institute
James T. Rosenbaum, M.D., program director
Sirichai Pasadhika, M.D.

Casey Eye Institute
James T. Rosenbaum, M.D.
Eric Suhler, M.D., MBA, fellowship director

The fellow will actively participate in the busy clinics of the faculty under direct supervision. In addition, the fellow will have a half-day fellows clinic with their own uveitis patients at Legacy Devers Eye Institute.
