Legacy diabetes educators are certified by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators. Our education programs are accredited and meet special quality standards through the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

Diabetes education
Diabetes is a chronic disease that requires education:
- At diagnosis
- As a result of a change in treatment or health status
- When contemplating pregnancy
- During periods of unusual stress
- When blood sugar levels are too high or too low
We offer support groups and community activities. A full range of diabetes self-management programs are available. Our adult programs are recognized by the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
