Monoclonal Ab treatment expanded to all LHP practices
LHP practices can now refer high-risk patients with COVID-19 for monoclonal Ab treatment at Legacy. Due to staffing constraints, MAb treatment to patients from independent practices was not available initially. We have been working towards this expansion since we started treatment and are thrilled to now have the resources to be able to offer treatment to patients that you wish to refer to Legacy.
What we are offering: Legacy stood up two outdoor sites to administer MAb treatment with Regen-COV, one in NW Portland and one at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center. We are administering subcutaneously and then observing patients in their cars.
Please review our summary document as a first step to guide you through eligibility requirements and referral process details, EUA and patient info.
How to refer:
- Not on Legacy Epic: The process is similar to our PCR testing referral process, it is the same team handling the scheduling of patients, and goes as follows:
o Ensure the patient meets criteria listed on the order form. See next bullet.
o Fill out the order form.
o Fax form and a face sheet to: 503-415-5139
o The Legacy team will call the patient and schedule them for treatment at either of our 2 sites.
- On Legacy Epic:
o Look for the smartset “COVID 19 Monoclonal Antibody Treatment” and complete as per the workflow tip sheet.
Please reach out to the Legacy Health Covid testing and monoclonal Ab team with questions.
