Current Chief Residents
Erin Donovan, D.O.
Dr. Erin Donovan grew up in Williamston, Michigan and attended college at Western Michigan University. She went to medical school at Rocky Vista University in Colorado and completed a Sub Internship at Legacy during her fourth year when she was drawn to the welcoming nature of the program. Dr. Donovan was thrilled when she matched to Legacy for residency and has enjoyed her training here so much, she stuck around for an extra year as a Chief Resident. She is interested in palliative care, narrative medicine, medical education, and physician wellness. When she is not working, you can find Dr. Donovan paddleboarding the lakes around Mt. Hood in the summer, cross country skiing in the winter, hiking or trail running Forest Park, biking around the city, and exploring the incredible food and drink scene that Portland has to offer!
Kathleen Judd, D.O.
Dr. Kathleen Judd was born and raised in Chugiak, Alaska. She received her undergraduate degree in Genetics and Cell Biology at Washington State University, then completed medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. She completed her residency training at Legacy and was thrilled to stay on as one of the Chief Residents. She loves getting to know her patients and learning their stories, and has a particular interest in medical education, quality improvement, and working with underserved populations. When not working she enjoys getting outside in any capacity, particularly hiking and backpacking, on which adventures she loves to take her two border collies, Loki and Ollie.
Incoming Chief Residents
Neysan Pucks, M.D.
Dr. Neysan Pucks was born in Nice, France and grew up in Oxford, U.K.. He earned his medical degree from Brighton and Sussex Medical School and did an intercalated Bachelor of Science at Imperial College London. Having started his internal medicine residency in Oxford, Dr Pucks and his wife, who grew up in the Pacific Northwest, decided to make the journey across the Atlantic. Dr. Pucks started his residency at Legacy Health in 2020 and is excited to continue on as chief medical resident starting June 2023. In his spare time, Dr. Pucks likes to play soccer and spend time with his wife and two daughters, exploring Portland's nature and food scenes.
Nicolette Bottesini, M.D.
Dr. Nicolette Bottesini was born and raised in Salem, NH. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of New Hampshire and went to medical school at the University of New England in Maine. Dr. Bottesini spent her gap year in Portland, OR and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. She was thrilled to match at Legacy and is excited to continue on as chief medical resident starting in June 2023. Dr. Bottesini enjoys hiking, trail running, and cycling with her husband, two dogs, and friends.
