My primary focus in the field of speech-language pathology has been to help children and adolescents develop communication skills that have functional applications in all contexts of school, family, and community. Paramount in achieving this goal is open and continual collaboration with patients and their parents/caregivers to discover what are the real-world communication needs, the barriers in way, and the best methods for applying what is learned. I have a background in the public school system.
