About Me:

Dr. Armour enjoys caring for her patients over time and getting to know them. She loves to help people improve their quality of life by having better eyesight. She was named one of Portland’s Top Doctors in 2014 and 2017 by Portland Monthly Magazine. She is experienced in complex cataract surgery and advanced intraocular lens surgery. Her special area of interest is the surgical management of cataracts in patients with complicated underlying eye diseases such as retinal disease, inflammatory eye disease, and glaucoma. During her time as Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at OHSU, Dr. Armour served as Associate Residency Program Director and was instrumental in training the next generation of ophthalmology residents to be excellent physicians and surgeons. She also served as Director of Medical Student Education in Ophthalmology. At OHSU she received Distinguished Service Awards and Teaching Awards. She is an Examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology.
