About Me:

Dr. Ravichandran (Ravi) received his medical degree from Madras Medical College in India. He completed residencies in surgery and cardiothoracic surgery in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle, England, as well as at Providence St. Vincent in Portland and Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University and St. Louis University Hospital. He was formerly chief of cardiac surgery at the Portland VA Medical Center and director of heart transplant and assist device programs at OHSU. His main interest is in cardiac and thoracic surgeries including complex aortic and mitral valve repairs and coronary artery surgery and combined procedures.
