About Me:

Nicole, a Michigan native, graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2017 with her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders. Prior to joining Legacy Health in 2021, she spent four years working for private clinics and skilled nursing facilities in the Bend and Portland areas, servicing both adult and pediatric populations across a wide range of ages and diagnoses. She specializes in developing individualized treatment plans for patients with dysphagia, aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, voice disorders, and/or cognitive deficits, relating to vascular, neuromuscular, and degenerative diseases, in addition to traumatic brain injury. Nicole practices a holistic approach to patient care, with an emphasis on maximizing her patients’ functional independence in daily activities and improving their overall quality of life. When not treating patients, Nicole enjoys spending her time skiing, backpacking, kayaking, reading, biking, roller skating, traveling, and gardening.
