About Me:

Min Joo Kim is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) specializing in Cardiovascular Disease with interests in Congestive Heart Failure, Preventative Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. Practicing since 2018, Min Joo’s interest in medicine started when a family member became ill, which required hospitalization and ultimately led to first-hand experience navigating the complex health care system. During this experience, she yearned to bridge the health literacy gap and provide culturally competent care as a medical provider. During Min Joo’s training as a physician assistant, she developed a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine because it offers her the ability to provide preventive care as well as management of acute and chronic conditions. When not at work, Min Joo likes to spend time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and camping with her friends and family along with playing fetch with her puppy.
