Board certified in Ophthalmology, Dr. Straiko is a subspecialist in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Legacy Good Samaritan's Devers Eye Institute. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by an internship at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati and residency at Washington University in St. Louis. He completed subspecialty training at Devers Eye Institute. Dr. Straiko joined Devers in 2011 where he is Associate Director of Corneal Services. His clinical interests include cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, corneal trauma and reconstruction, keratoplasty, keratoprosthesis surgery (artificial cornea), lens implantation, refractive surgery and dry eye. Away from medicine, Dr. Straiko enjoys spending time with his wife and twin girls, hiking, biking and photography. Hobbies include: Spending time with my family, Hiking, Cycling, Photography
