About Me:

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Furr attended Tufts University, where he earned his degree in Biopsychology while representing the University playing soccer in NCAA comopetition. Dr. Furr then studied at Harvard University, followed by medical school at Jefferson Medical College, where he was elected to the AOA Honor Medical Society. Dr. Furr completed his internship and residency training in ENT at OHSU. Subsequently, Dr. Furr spent a year in rigorous Fellowship training under the direction of world renowned facial plastic surgeon Dr. Harry Mittelman. Dr. Furr has conducted research in wound healing, reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, and cosmetic facial plastic surgery. He also has helped to develop novel methods to improve the care provided to cleft palate patients in the third world. Dr. Furr has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and reference textbooks, and has had the honor of speaking at national specialty meetings.
