About Me:

"Dr. Krista Jensen is a native Oregonian and a University of Oregon graduate who went on to medical school at Western University of Health Sciences. Her residency was completed in Columbus, OH at Ohio Health Doctors Hospital and Grant Medical Center. After residency, she worked in a busy private practice. Dr. Jensen and her husband moved back to Oregon in 2021 to put down roots and raise their two children closer to family. She is trained in robotic surgery, general and high-risk obstetrics, broad spectrum gynecology and preventive medicine. She loves the outdoors, reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones."

Most explanations from this provider (at this visit and previous) feel very rushed with Dr in and out of the room as fast as possible. Risks are covered but very rapidly and with little detail so it's kind of on the patient to ask the right questions but we don't always know enough to know what to ask. Slowing down a bit and giving more thorough explanations would be helpful. E.g. There may be some bleeding or pain - how much and for how long would be good to also mention. Also little coverage of follow up instructions unless directly asked - relies too heavily on patient reading the after visit summary rather than covering that content verbally during the appt as well.

My doctor showed concern, explained the condition and treatment and answered my questions. She was knowledgeable, professional and approachable.

Dr Jensen is an excellent doctor; excellent bed-side manner, takes time to listen and answer all my questions (for which I had quite a few).
