About Me:
General Surgeon and Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Jan is a board certified surgeon with Legacy Medical Group-Oregon Surgical. Dr. Jan earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his internship and residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was awarded a fellowship in surgery. He also received a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Jan is a fellow with the American College of Surgeons. A specialist in bariatric surgery, his interests include gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, adjustable gastric banding, as well as revisions and post-bariatric complications. The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery has accredited Legacy Weight and Diabetes Institute as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.
