About Me:

Dr. Henry Chu’s first priority is achieving a successful outcome for his patients. He pays attention to the smallest details, enabling smooth and uneventful procedures. During discussions, he takes the time to educate patients about their heart condition so that they understand what’s going on in their body and can manage their disease effectively. Dr. Chu often treats patients with multiple medical issues. He has a deep understanding of how these diseases interact and works with patients to prevent complications. He strives to build a genuine connection with each person to understand how their conditions affect their day-to-day life. Dr. Chu specializes in interventional cardiology and performs minimally invasive techniques with cardiac catheterization. The treatments he offers are driven by evidenced-based medicine. He has a special interest in the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease.

Training: Dr. Chu graduated with a bachelor of science in biomedical engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He earned a doctor of medicine from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. He completed an internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County (LAC) + USC Medical Center, serving as chief resident his final year. He completed a cardiology fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and was the chief cardiology fellow. He then returned to LAC + USC Medical Center where he completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology. Dr. Chu is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
