About Me:

Gayla completed her Ph.D. in Speech Pathology at the University of Utah. Her research focused on language comprehension after right versus left hemisphere stroke. She has more than 15 years experience working in the acute care and outpatient settings. Gayla specializes in dysphagia, speech and cognitive-linguistic disorders. She is trained and certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment for patients with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological disorders. Gayla enjoys traveling, hiking and skiing with her family.
