About Me:

My name is Ed Kim and I am excited to join the Legacy Mt Hood clinic as their newest family medicine physician. I grew up in the Beaverton/Tigard area nearly my entire life and after completing undergrad at UW Seattle and medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin, I returned home and finished my residency at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. I have experience working with patients in a variety of settings including urgent care, rural, and virtual medicine. I have additional interests in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and helping patients access gender affirming care. In my spare time I like to play with my puppy and make videos for social media.

My new Dr. Kim is wonderful!. His excellent bedside manor made it easy to communicate history of current issues and my body's life-long functioning. He's very knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough as we start determing what my injury and current health status is.

I was unable to make an appointment with my regular primary due to his schedule which concerned me because he already knows my history. I was pleasantly surprised with the new doctor. He was personable and thorough. He explained everything and even asked if there were any other issues or concerns I had. Fantastic new doctor! Hope he is going to be staying as a regular for when my doctor is not available. Think he would be a great asset to the team. It is hard to find good primary doctos anymore and he is definitely a good one.

Dr. Kim was very through on my first visit. He adressed all my concerns and was very informed on my past history. I am very pleased at finding a doctor who listens and has my best interest in mind.

I rarely engage in conversations where an opportunity to recommend a doctor is presented. Dr. Kim is a fine doctor and I would recommend him if someone asked but I doubt very much that such a conversation will happen.
