About Me:

Dr. Claire Kassakian was born and raised in Livingston, Montana. She graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman where she received a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Science with minors in English Literature and Women's Studies. She went on to earn her Medical Doctorate at Alpert Medical School, a Brown-Dartmouth University program. She also completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Nephrology at Brown University Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island. While at Brown, Dr. Kassakian received additional training in peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis as well as conducted extensive research in transplant nephrology. In her free time she enjoys cooking, running, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family.
