Why volunteer at Legacy?
Volunteering is an impactful and rewarding way to contribute to our community while gaining valuable experience in healthcare.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to support patients, families and staff and make a positive difference in their lives.
Other perks for volunteering vary by location and may include meal allowances, group discounts, vaccines, and more.
Volunteering with Legacy Hospice Services can change your life and the lives of others. Whether it's a gentle smile, holding a patient’s hand or giving a much-needed break for the family, hospice volunteers are rewarded with the appreciation of those they serve. We offer a free, comprehensive training program that includes information on symptom management, communication, family dynamics, grief, spiritual care, and body mechanics.
