About Me:

I am originally from South Carolina, where I attended undergrad and medical school at The University of South Carolina. When given the opportunity to move anywhere in the country for residency, My husband and I jumped at the chance to explore the pacific northwest finishing my medical training at Providence Portland Internal Medicine Residency. We fell in love with the region and decided to make it our home. My clinical interests include preventative medicine, patient education and learning how to fit patient health needs into already busy lives. I strive to help people learn to live their lives more fully. I also work in clinical informatics to help make our electronic health record work better for healthcare providers. When I am not working, I enjoy exploring Oregon’s abundant parks and wildlife with my family and pets. I also enjoy Portland’s extensive restaurant scene, gardening, and home improvement.
