About Me:

Dr. Roddy performed his Internal Medicine Residency at Emanuel Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He has many years of experience as a general internal medicine provider at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center and Portland Providence Medical Center. Dr. Roddy has been active on board committees, including the Quality Improvement and Credentialing committee. Dr. Roddy is recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA) for providing quality care to his patients with diabetes. Dr. Roddy believes it is important to establish long-term relationships with patients, friends and colleagues. Outside of work, Dr. Roddy enjoys spending time with my family, skiing and water sports.

Dr Roddy has been my primary provider for about 40 years, I think. He knows my health better than I do. I'm always impressed with how thorough and unhurried he is. He's the best kind of doctor. Goes well beyond expectations.

Doctor Roddy not only addressed the critical issues I needed resolved, he went the extra mile to introduce me to the psychologist onsite for an evaluation. Just an amazing person doing amazing things for others. Doctor Roddy is much appreciated within my family.

I had not met the nurse who did the initial work up before. She exhibited the professionalism and friendliness I expect whenever I come into the Salmon Creek Clinic. And of course Dr Roddy is exceptional in every respect.

Dr Roddy is very thorough and very knowledgeable. Also, he's very caring and thoughtful. I had two surgeries one in 23 & 24 and after I got home from the hospital, he called to see if I needed anything and to call his office if I had any questions or needed anything.

This was an impromptu visit. Dr. Roddy is my neighbor and not my primary care Doctor.When I mentioned my health issues he immediately advised that I come see him. He phoned me in the morning and saw me at the end of his half day of work. In doing this he went above and beyond. I got care and referrals that were lacking elsewhere. I can not begin to say enough good about him and express my severe gratitude.

Went in to address a neck pain and stuffed up ear. Both were discussed and some tests and procedures were performed, and PT referral done. So far those were not an answer to the issues. Will discuss further if no improvement in the next month.

This follow up went fairly well given the time slot and recent nurse practitioner visits in this office since I saw Dr. Roddy. We agreed the next visit would be an annual checkup for a longer visit.
