Came in for my annual & to my surprise was in full blown AFIB. Dr. Hwang did an EKG & then sent me over to ER. Great catch on her part.

I can't believe that you can not open a disk or a thumb drive to get medical records from another doctor.

Listened to me & seemed thorough. A little dismissive about some general fatigue I've been having for months, but this was just before she went on maternity leave & hard to follow up on. I've gotten as good care from this PA as I have from most M.D.'s.

I just didn't know the provider as she is not my normal Dr. I felt that she did not feel any urgency in my visit. I told her I was in severe pain. No reaction from her. I wanted to ask for a couple days off due to not being able to get the ultra sound until Friday!!! I am an executive chef- so there is no light duty! She didn't even consider asking if I may need a day or two off she just said the ultra sound should be scheduled and they are fast- except I have to wait an entire week! Tylenol is my source for pain relief. She never offered anything different. She said to monitor my BP because it was high. I told her it was probably high from working an 8 hour shift with a bulge in my groin and being in so much pain! No reaction.,,,

I don't feel that we really know each other. I was kind of surprised that I was assigned a D.A. for my primary care, (also my dermatologist) instead of an M.D. Is this now common practice? And why is this?

A health concern was brought up to the MA but was not addresses at all by the provider. I was supposed to receive an injection but seemed to be forgotten by the provider
