About Me:
Dr. Michelle Chien became a physician to provide support and guidance to families so that they never have to feel lost or alone during a medical situation. She wants families to know that they have someone on their side—a pediatrician who cares deeply about their kids and who takes the time to explain what to expect. Her goal is for patients to leave each visit knowing that they are important. Dr. Chien enjoys seeing children of all ages and watching them grow up to be strong and healthy adults. In addition to providing developmental guidance and preventive care, she likes to offer families information on nutrition and healthy eating.
Training:
Dr. Chien earned a bachelor of science in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics from the University of California in Los Angeles. She earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She completed an internship and residency at Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. She is board certified in pediatrics.
