About Me:

I was born and raised in New Orleans. I knew at the age of 15 that I wanted to pursue a career in pediatric medicine. My undergraduate studies were at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. I lived for many years in Seattle working interesting jobs (day care teacher, bike messenger, ski instructor, hospital unit clerk) and attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine. I completed my pediatric internship/residency at UCSF. I worked for many years as both a clinic and hospital pediatrician in the Bay Area of California but missed my Pacific Northwest roots. I am thrilled to be back home in the Pacific Northwest. I truly love what I do. Every day I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the families and children in our community. I feel especially honored and privileged to work here at Legacy Health. In my spare time, I am a musician, hiker/runner, skier, and cyclist, and love to travel. I live in Portland with my amazing wife and mini-aussie dog.
