About Me:

Lauren Merrell, D.N.P., is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Legacy Medical Group-Northwest. She joined Legacy in 2018 after working in community mental-health settings. Dr. Merrell has a special interest in patients with co-occurring mental health and neurodevelopmental disorder (e.g., Autism, Down Syndrome, intellectual disability). She also enjoys treating patients with depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Prior to attending nursing school, she worked at Vanderbilt University in psychiatric research.
