Dr. Kristen Thomas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder surgery. She has completed her medical school and orthopedic residency at The Ohio State University. Dr. Thomas completed her shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, NY. She has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals and has a special interest in shoulder injuries in softball players. Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities.

The appt. Was set for me. It came up on my chart so I went. It worked out great but I had nothing to do with setting the appt.

I apparently misunderstood that I was seeing a shoulder specialist. Dr. Thomas was wonderful as I received cortisone shots in each shoulder. I could not believe the improvement and pain reduction that I have experienced. Thank you Dr. Thomas and your excellent P/A.

Initially I was told mid July for an appointment a week laterThen told mid JuneFinally after much phone tag w Philip, as well as schedulers, The person who scheduled and truly listened and heard me describe age discrimination by GotoOrtho PA Andrew was Holly.She was nothing short of a God send and an answer to prayer. Please thank her for me.Dr Thomas' staff was polite and professional, even humored me w my lame Dad jokes.Dr Thomas' office was quick to get Medicare to authorize an MRI, as well as follow up w PT.Dr Thomas is very professional and good at breaking down things in layman's terms.The whole industry seems to be booking out quite a ways. The PT, the imaging, I feel very thankful the doc got me in. Is this related to a shortage of workers?

I can recommend this provider, Dr Thomas, for anyone with shoulder problems. Did not opt for surgery first and had a solid plan for determining what to do and communicated that plan.

Receptionist offered me water when I couldn't find any. Much appreciated! Doc was compassionate & super informative. And the assistant who gave me an injection was helpful and gentle. Very positive experience.

All members of the office staff (Holly, Alan, Raquel, etc.) were courteous, efficient and considerate. Dr. Thomas was kind, interested, interactive, and thoroughly knowledgeable. Her "bedside manner" was fabulous! Every aspect of the experience with and in her office for this appointment was virtually perfect.

DR. THOMAS IS AWESOME. HER STAFF WERE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. GOT IN AND GOT OUT IN VER ACCEPTABLE TIMES. IF MY RIGHT SHOULDER GOES BAD I WOULD COME BACK IN A MNUTE FOR THEM TO HELP AND GUIDE ME THROUGH ANY PROCEDURE NEEDED.

Been engaged in addressing this problem since October (it's now March). Barriers include PCP retiring and Legacy failing to have a successor PCP, and months-long waits for orthopedic appointments.

It was a very GOOD VISIT w/ Dr. KRISTIN THOMAS although the 1st injection to my left arm was very very PAINFUL n the right arm seems go be PAINFUL, too... It doesn't matter as long my visit in ur clinic, HELPED ME A LOT! Thanks for Dr. THOMAS n her helper too. My visit was not WATESTED....More POWER to all Legaxy Mefical Group n GOD BLESS you ALL, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!!

I have had the good fortune of meeting with Dr. Thomas and both of her PAs. They were all very caring and kind to me and really would like to help me with the problems I brought to the appointment.

The provider took time to listen to the whole story of my injury. She was extremely helpful as far as explaining my condition and the process that will unfold moving forward. She was kind, compassionate, respectful, and treated me like a while complicated person and not just a series of symptoms. I would recommend her without hesitation - this was honestly one of the best interactions I've ever had with a medical provider.

Every staff person I have encountered have been very friendly, respectful, helpful and efficient. This office functions very efficiently. Dr Thomas was very personable and really listened to me. It was obvious that she had reviewed my chart and the documentation and test results done so far. She clearly explained her assessment of my problem, her suggested plan of action and plan for follow up. I left feeling very confident in her expertise and that she truly cared.

I was late due to a family emergency but they took me anyway. Discussed my recovery from surgery and arranged for more physical therapy.

Her notes on patient portal did not exactly match what was discussed during the visit. Her opinion was leaning towards one of the options and she did not discuss one of the other options that she wrote in her notes that she had discussed.
