My appointment was on Thursday. I did not receive the after visit summary until the following Tuesday. On Monday I had my first PT appointment and the PT office had not received the new instructions the doctor said they would be sending to my PT person.

Dr. Thomas' listened carefully, asked follow up questions for clarity, and then carefully explained to me what my issue was. She had reviewed my primary care provider's notes, the MRI that was previously done and then the xrays that were done in facility and already had an understanding of the issue. She showed these to me and then walked me through on a visual chart where the issues are, she then talked me through options and asked me questions along the way. I truly felt part of the process and not that I was being pushed one direction of the other, but was gaining an understanding of options and possible outcomes. She kept a positive tone and energy that took away the anxiety I had coming into the appointment/interaction. I can't say enough about how different this experience felt for me and how comfortable I am in moving forward with the treatment plan.
