Dr. Engstad is a board-certified general surgeon, specializing in cardiothoracic surgery. He received his medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine, Grenada. He completed his residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey and completed a thoracic surgery fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Engstad focuses on treating patients who are in need of aortic surgery, including valve sparing procedures, coronary artery surgery, pacemaker implementation and minimally invasive thoracic surgery and other cardiothoracic procedures.
