About Me:

I grew up in sunny New Mexico and then lived on the East Coast before settling in Portland in 2007. The Pacific Northwest is definitely home for my husband and our two kids. We enjoy the outdoors but at this point in life, we spend more time outside at soccer games and walking the dog than we do hiking and camping. My husband has been a stay-at-home Dad since our daughter was born in 2006. His support has provided a work-life balance that allows me the freedom to spend extra time caring for patients when needed. Being a doctor is a privilege, and I take pride in partnering with families to provide the best medical care for each child I meet. As a general pediatric neurologist, I see many children with headaches and seizure disorders but am comfortable evaluating more rare problems as well.
