About Me:

Legacy Medical Group Cardiology is excited to introduce Jeffrey Drood, M.D. After graduating from medical school at Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Drood completed an internal medicine residency and fellowships in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Drood’s clinical interests include implantation and management of cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators, heart rhythm disorders, and preventive cardiology. Dr. Drood encourages his patients to ask questions. “I enjoy spending time teaching patients about their health issues,” he explains. “I think outcomes are at their best when patients take an active role and thereby some responsibility for the care they receive.”
