About Me:

Dr. Jason H Skalet grew up in the Washington, D.C. area and did his medical training in Philadelphia at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. While there he discovered a passion for the specialty of ophthalmology. Dr. Skalet was attracted to the challenging, technical surgeries and meaningful long-term patient care in ophthalmology. He spent an additional year as a student participating in research and international clinical experiences in ophthalmology. Dr. Skalet completed his ophthalmology residency at the Scheie Eye Institute/University of Pennsylvania in 2007, where he enjoyed learning the breadth of ophthalmology but became particularly interested in advanced corneal disease and inflammatory eye disease. At EyeHealth Northwest, Dr. Skalet enjoys providing the full gamut of routine eye care, including diabetic exams, cataract checks, and glaucoma care as well as taking care of both adult and pediatric patients with complex corneal, anterior segment disease, and uveitis.
