About Me:

My interest in medicine started as a young child following my pediatrician-dad to work in Louisville, Kentucky. I began my journey westward in college at the University of Colorado Boulder, then stayed for a year between college and medical school to teach snowboarding in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I headed back home for medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Finally, I moved west again to Portland where I met my husband and completed pediatric residency at OHSU. What is my care philosophy? I consider it a privilege to be chosen as your child’s pediatrician and trusted to care for your precious little one(s). I try to make visits fun for your child whenever I can, and I focus on preventative care and am a strong advocate for vaccination. I love all areas of pediatrics, but especially taking care of newborns and infants in their first year of life. There is nothing quite like seeing how much children and their families grow and change over the years.
