I enjoy seeing my practice as a collaboration between myself and my patients to approach issues impacting their lives, both medical and non-medical. Activities: My default mode is to be moving, whether that is cycling, hiking, gardening, or woodworking. As my father said, “always in motion, never in a hurry.”

The best part of the visit was to arrive and Dr. Beers took the time to greet me, smile, sit and review my past health care concerns, liisten and have dialog of the current changes and over 50 poud weight loss, how to achieve my goal of further weight loss, maintain and work on this goal, in addition to my overall challenges on how to serve the homeless, reemain in prision ministery, visiting, singing and praying with those in memory/hospice care, sing in four choirs, and much more and still be on the go all of the time and still stay hearlthy at age eighty five.

Dr Beers is awesome. He was great at listening to my concerns and setting me at ease with thoughtful input and sound advice. I felt so much better after my visit.

Provider Beers went above and beyond. I highly recommend this provider. My concerns is I wish the nursing staff was consistent. It appears everyone time I come to the office there's usually/always a new staff member. Are nursing staff being care for by Legacy Medical Group? A team is all those who participate in my care. There is no "I" in team.

As usual, Dr. Beers was compassionate, listened to my issues with my shoulder, and together we agreed on a treatment plan. Dr. Beers listens to me, treats me with respect, explains things in a way that is easy to understand. He has been my doctor for 30 years. When my Insurance company stopped contracting with Legacy, I switched health plans to keep Dr. Beers and my physician.

Dr Beers is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything so I understand completely. I have many issues regarding gastro and arthritis that haven't been fully addressed.

Dr. BEERS almost reads my mind as to my medical needs.....he makes me feel like I am the only person in the world. Furthermore, I am astonished at how current he is on medical trials and clinical a studies. Couldn't ask for more!

(He doesn't take new clients.) Dr Beers has taught me how to take care of myself and manage my constellation of health challenges, so my latest visit was to confirm a diagnosis for an extreme health event. I have very poor lower leg circulation, DVT events, veinous stasis, etc. During the ice storm I had two large, very painful subdural hematomas and massive swelling on my right leg. Reluctant to visit the emergency room because of my likely mortality from exposure to patients with active respiratory illnesses, I treated myself at home as I had for DVT, elevated leg, compression hose, rest and moderate exercise. Dr Beers told me that I had done exactly what he would have recommended that I do. In 23 years in his care, he, the absolute best physician possible, has saved my life, educated me and partnered with me in balancing the multiple health challenges in my life. The fact that I am able to enjoy my poor health happily is a testament to his level of care!

Dr. Beers is a wonderful doctor! I recently survived a very traumatic event at work and he has been very kind and responsive to me, even though I largely will need several issues addressed through a worker's comp doctor. I have really appreciated his professionalism and genuine concern in reaching out to me and following up with me. He is a tremendous asset to the medical profession and I feel very fortunate to be his patient!

Dr Beers is not just a doctor, but a teacher in a way that explains in lay terms what ails me. Doctor, meaning in Latin is teacher. He adheres to that.

Dr. Douglas Beers goes over and beyond any PCP to not only address the current concerns, but he listens and addresses ALL of the potential way to prevent certain possible outcome, health risks, and discusses your personal needs for change, minimizing risks. He not only listens, but hears and responds to the needs without any drama or condescending attitude.

I was most impressed with him, he had done a complete review of my medical history. He asked me pertinent questions. He allowed me time to ask him many questions and to voice my health concerns. I was very pleased and impressed with Dr. Beers. I am very happy to have on my medical team.
