Dr. Zarella always listens to me and always responds to my concerns respectfully. I truly wish Dr. Zarella could be my PCP :)

So impressed with the positive attitude and respect from everyone we encountered!

The entrance, hallways, offices and restrooms at Randall & Emanuel are in need of renovations. The restrooms were filthy. Sure doesn't make you feel confident that you won't pick up a disease there.

I am happy

The receptionist that checked my daughter in was the same one that called to get my insurance information prior to the appt. I've never been interrupted by a healthcare worker as many times as she interrupted me. She called me to get insurance and then put me on hold for at least 5 mins and then picked up the phone and asked why I was calling and acted like I was the one that called her. She wasn't able to figure out my insurance on the phone or while in the office and didn't take the time to escalate it to someone else for further help. Told me I should pay the $340 charge of a non-insurance pt and when I explained what the cost reflected she then told me not to pay it and wait for insurance even though she couldn't figure out my insurance. Not once did she try calling my insurance to figure it out even though she had my insurance card and I let her know that I verified with my insurance that we had coverage at their office after my extensive conversation on the phone with her. I'm sorry for anyone that has to try to work with her.

Dr Zarella and staff were fantastic. They took their time and I felt comfortable knowing I would leave the office with the best care.

The doctor is very nice and respectful but has weak communication skills. Without exaggerating, I don't think he ever finished an actual sentence or thought; he kept kinda restarting a new idea. I felt like I had to say what I thought he was trying to communicate and have him confirm that. He had to resort to drawing pictures to get his ideas across which was interesting. Also, the front desk apparently didn't actually check us in. On our way out we had to go through the checkin, answer a bunch of questions, fix my son's chart as the info was entered incorrectly or something. Then I was told I'm all good, so I go to leave and get flagged back at the door to handle the co-pay. So back in I go. Then the machine is having trouble reading my card but turns out the receptionist didn't know how to use the card reader. Overall, it was a pretty low quality experience. Ultimately I felt like we eventually got to the answers we needed from the doctor but it was a confusing journey and the desk staff, while very nice people, don't seem to have it together.

The MA wasn't very friendly and seemed inexperienced with having infant patients.

I am VERY HAPPY with Dr Zarella but very disappointed in the hospital facilities. The hospital appears to be very old and not well cared for which causes me some hesitancy to be treated there
