About Me:

Dr. Bunten graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 2000. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University. She won a fellowship to study Obstetrics and Gynecology at Queen Mother’s Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland, and has also volunteered at the Verbo Clinic, a missionary-run public health clinic and surgicenter in Cuenca, Ecuador. Dr. Bunten has interests in vulvar health and family planning, and enjoys all aspects of low & high risk pregnancy care. She has special expertise in complex pelvic surgery, including the use of minimally invasive incontinence and laparoscopic surgery techniques for hysterectomy.
