About Me:

Dr. Elkhal’s favorite aspect of her job is working with children and the whole family, developing relationships and stories together through the years. She especially enjoys watching children feel better and sharing all of their grand schemes and goals for life. She initially chose medicine because of how incredible the human body and brain work and continues in pediatrics for both the pleasure of seeing kids thrive and supporting their dreams. She has a special interest in access to healthy food options and on injury prevention. She completed medical school and residency at OHSU and got to be a part of the Randall Children’s Clinic team as a resident She is thrilled to get to continue on in her role with Legacy and continue to see the families she has gotten to know over the years. Outside of work, Dr. Elkhal and her husband have found themselves busy caring for a new child as he learns to walk, eat, and get into fun trouble. She also watches the Timbers & Thorns, and enjoys cooking
