| Eligibility Criteria | Patients must be enrolled on AALL08B1 prior to enrollment on a COG ALL therapeutic study A bone marrow examination is required, unless there is a medical contraindication to having the test performed Newly diagnosed acute leukemia: >25% blast on a BM aspirate (OR by pathologic diagnosis of acute leukemia on a bone marrow biopsy, OR a complete blood count documenting the presence of at least 1,000/uL circulating leukemic blasts) Age: <31 years of age at diagnosis of acute leukemia |
