Dr. Brewer is the best orthopedic surgeon I've had since moving to Oregon in 2004.

The assistance from the check in for X-rays to scheduling my next appointment has always been fast, friendly and professional.

Overall excellent. The experience and care was outstanding.

Dr. Brewer couldn't help me with my particular problem. However, he was very helpful in referring me to someone who can help me when I've been tossed around for almost 4 months to different orthopedic doctors only to be told they can't help me. Dr. Brewer was much more helpful in guiding me to the proper channel. He seemed very knowledgeable as well. I would recommend him to others.

Dr Brewer is easy to talk to. He listens to my questions, answers in an easy to understand way.

The provider explained everything clearly and made sure we understood the timeline for further treatment.

It was a knowledgeable visit. Wish he would have written down what I can do and can't do, and let me describe everything as a lot happened to my body to have brought me in that day, actually was trying to get in sooner, but hard to. Although the operation I need he cannot conduct so I am referred off to another place. Which this has been a lot of running around and waiting for treatment for myself. I've been off work for over two years now. I was struck by a lot and am missing bone fragment and have a labrum tear in my right hip. It's been an excruciating unpleasant process to getting proper care and treatment for my body.

First time visit to orthopedic doctor for follow up from fracture to left proximal humerus. Wished I could have seen him sooner because of the pain level and not having enough pain med for the week . I didn't know this would be so painful

Dr. Nelson has a great attitude and keeps me feeling positive about the future with my shoulder. This is great to see in a doctor. I've dealt with non legacy doctors in the past that herd people through like cattle, Dr. NELSON is the exact opposite. He asks you quotations and listens to what you say. You can tell he listens when he dives deeper into what you are telling him rather than feeling like you are talking to a pre recorded message. The staff at Dr. Nelson's practice are insanely responsive. Maria, Sandra, and Erin Scharer not only respond to my messages on my chart expeditiously, they are informative, take action if I need something, and are extremely respectful.

Dr. Brewer and his assistant Rae were both wonderful. I felt very cared for thank you for all you do.

Dr. Brewer said the surgery went well and showed it was successful. However, I don't feel it is any better than before. In daily pain but hopefully it may improve with time. But is frustrating, after 1 year.

Dr Saur and his staff are top notch, always makes you feel that you matter, they talk to you not at you, always very nice . Any concerns you have , they are right on them

Only problem I had was when I arrived at the hospital, the order that I needed wasn't in , it was for the knee which I needed as well, but not for this particular pray. The hospital kept attempting to contact Dr. Brewer's office, but they were all at lunch at the same time. May I suggest that they have at least one person at the desk at lunchtime? Certainly, they don't all have to go at the same time. Anyway, it all turned out ok, I received both x-rays and Dr Brewer was kind enough to go over both of them for me.

Went to exam room in :07 but sat in room for :40 with no contact would rather wait in waiting room with TV because nurse had me sit on table so thought it was soon but could have just stayed in chair

I do not like doctors. But I do enjoy going to the doctors office and being treated with kindness and consideration I'm a smile, and that's what I always get. It puts me a little bit more at ease.

Issue being seen for was addressed appropriately.

It was all good until I was asked what day I wanted my surgery and I did say I wanted it on Friday and the next thing I know I'm scheduled on Thursday. So I did let them know the next day that I couldn't do it and they did reschedule me but I kind of wish that he (Dr.) would have gone with my first choice.That's my only complaint.

Dr Nelson was absolutely fantastic. He listened to my concerns, explained all my options and helped me understand at a basic level what was going on with my knee. He provided future plans and things to look out for, and was incredibly thorough and kind.

Dr Nelson is an outstanding medical doctor and an AMAZING surgeon. I feel so blessed that he provided my shoulder and biceps surgeries! He's a jewel in the medical field! He actually listens to what I say and is genuine in his care and responses!

Nothing negative to report, My contact with Legacy was for an emergent situation. EVERYONE I encountered on staff was very friendly and efficient.

Dr. Nelson was outstanding! He knew what my knee problem was before he even entered the room just by looking at the X-rays. He explained what was going on and showed me on the X-rays what the issue was. He was very kind and explained in layman's terms what was happening. I am so grateful to him, and I wish I had come to him months earlier. He referred me to another surgeon which I appreciate immensely.

I saw Dr. Rae Johnson first and Paul Brewer MD on second visit.

My knee was worn out, the doctor fixed it. He is a genuine human and looks out for patients. His PA is outstanding as well. The office ppl have always been nice. In the end I've had the best outcome from a knee replacement, so what is there to complain about? Thanks!

It was a good experience- the only reason I probably wouldn't recommend it is because I live in Salem and usually go to the Salem Hospital.

My visit went very well, every member of staff was courteous and very helpful in answering all my questions. The interview with the provider was excellent in providing information about my ailment. My only gripoe is that it would be a lot better if the imiging lab was in the same building as where the interview takes place, rather than having to go to a different building, especially when the condition of my complaint is so painful. Maybe this could be a thought to ponder on.

Computer access to my medical records was very easy to use. Receptionist was very positive and friendly. So was the doctor's assistant. Doctor was very knowledgeable and thorough. Payment for co-pay was super easy.

Dr. Brewer and his staff are simply the best. I know they care and that my health is of importance to them. They LISTEN. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
