Do you offer services for patients without developmental delays, suspected autism or ADHD disorders but who have learning, attention, or emotional adjustment problems?
- For children with learning problems, we recommend requesting an IEP evaluation (psychoeducational evaluation) through the local school district or to an outside clinical psychologist.
- For children with behavioral concerns in combination with any mental health history (such as abuse, trauma, etc.), we recommend a referral for a psychological evaluation.
- For children with mood and/or anxiety concerns, we recommend a referral to a mental health provider for assessment and treatment.
- For children with documented medical or neurological conditions that affects brain function (e.g., concussion/brain injury), we recommend neuropsychological evaluation or a physiatry evaluation. See site for age restrictions.
